My daughter LOVED it here. She's 2.5. Its very detailed and intricately done. It was a great day visiting and is very stimulating for young kids. She just kept going and going, especially loved following the trains. Would definitely go again, and it's fun to go through even without kids.

Loved it! Great for families and also couples. It is great place to visit to learn about the history of the netherlands. It isn't just a bunch of miniature buildings and replicas, it is so much more. It is a very interactive exhibit with a lot of fun activities. They give you a card to watch videos as you walk through the museum and it also stores your souvenirs, which they email to you later. For example, there is a DJ booth where you can make a song and you take a picture. The song and the picture are stored on your card and emailed to you for you to keep. My favorite part of the exhibit is the theater where you learn about the time the Netherlands won the Olympics. After the movie there are different soccer drills for you to play. Definitely worth a visit.

A surreal experience depicting the daily life in miniature.. it's been done so meticulously well..with coordinated movement of the trains, trucks & cars.. bridges opening up for the ships to pass through.. people walking around.. It's so lively..truly magical! Especially the airport was awesome! Detailing is spectacular.. I wonder how they keep it so clean when in the open! We spent around 3 hours, but I really wish I had more time. I just loved the place!

We love this place and found it also very interesting, because it gives you a good in-view of Netherlands points of interest. Very nice and detailed miniature houses set in a small park. There is a lively atmosphere with lots of miniature trains, mills, ships, airplanes and cars moving around and turning. The self service restaurant is not cheep but it offers fresh and tasty staff. Come in autumn on a week day outside holliday periods like we did, and you will enjoy more this experience, because there are only few people around.

This was one of our best experiences in Netherlands. There is a tram that runs to the stop. It is big and beautiful. Plan to spend a minimum of 4 hrs there because you can do everything. There are many shows but make sure you either stand in the line for English shows or the German show. There are activities and play areas for kids as well. There are restaurants and souvenir stalls. There are challenges that you can participate in. Use the map they give you on entry to ensure you see and do everything Madurodam has to offer.
