Tenor saxophonist Ben van den
Dungen is a hard working, hard
<br />
playing, and hard swinging jazz&nbsp;musician of the first order. He
<br />
has recorded 80 albums and&nbsp;performed over 5000 concerts in
<br />
70 countries. Among other&nbsp;current projects, he leads his&nbsp;own quartet, performs with the&nbsp;well known latin jazz unit 'Nueva
<br />
Manteca', and is a professor of&nbsp;jazz Saxophone at Codarts,
Rotterdam.<br />
<br />
With a deep&nbsp;knowledge of the entire lineage&nbsp;of jazz saxophone, Ben van den
Dungen's music is tough,&nbsp;swinging, and full of blues and
<br />
roots. His quartet is a long&nbsp;running group featuring the
<br />
fantastic Spanish pianist Miguel&nbsp;Rodriguez, Steve Zwanink (bass) and Gijs Dijkhuizen (drums)
