Norwegian author Johan Harstad (1979) tells in his latest novel Max, Mischa and the Tet Offensive (2017) about the displaced theatre director Max Hansen, who as a teenager emigrated from Norway to the United States. Danish author Dorthe Nors (1970) recently published the novel Mirror, Shoulder, Signal about 40 year old Sonja, translator of Swedish krimi’s, who decides to finally take driving classes. The short stories Knots from Norwegian author Gunnhild Øyehaug (1975) will be published April 2018. With lightness and spot on she creates vulnerable characters who get stuck in their own short comings.
