Born and raised in Turkey, Özlem loves sharing the historical and cultural riches of her homeland through its cuisine. Embarking on a professional cooking career ten years ago, she has since enthusiastically embraced opportunities for spreading the joy of cooking, including at JA University in Amman, Jordan; Blid and Hatton Gatherings, the Istanbul Culinary Institute in Istanbul, and London’s Divertimenti Cookery School, where she currently teaches classes. Moving to England in 2009, Özlem launched her Turkish recipe blog Özlem’s Turkish Table to connect with Turkish food lovers globally, naturally leading to the compilation of her first cookbook of the same name.
