Feest aan Zee
It was exactly 200 years ago that Jacobus Pronk built the first bathhouse at Scheveningen, a small wooden construction containing four seawater bathtubs. This made Scheveningen the first seaside resort in the Netherlands. The entire city will be celebrating with festivals, exhibitions and shows, and that’s just for starters. The Volvo Ocean Race is coming to The Hague, and 11 huge sand sculptures will be created on Lange Voorhout during the World Championship Sand Sculpting. See the festivity-packed programme at feestaanzee.nl. #feestaanzee
