De Fuut is a beach café at the Zuiderstrand ('South Beach') with a laid back atmosphere. Snacks and drinks at hand and regular musical and theatrical performances are part of the weekly entertainment of De Fuut.
Live jazz on the beach
The relaxed beach-side setting with a sunny terrace is also the ideal venue to sample some excellent live music, with different jazz artists playing every Sunday during the summer months.
Strandbeesten
During the summer months you can admire the Strandbeesten (Beach Beasts) by Theo Jansen at Beach pavilion De Fuut. The scientist-artist regularly works here on his spectacular creations.
Getting there
Due to its quiet location on the southern part of The Hague's beach, there are not many tourists. Best way to get there is by bike (but tram is also possible). After you've parked your bike at strandslag 10 or 9, it's a 250 meter walk across the beach.
