Madurodam Marathon is the most fun run for children through the most beautiful highlights of the Netherlands.
On Sunday, October 4, all children between the ages of 4-16 can participate in the Madurodam Marathon, the 1.69km marathon that runs across the Netherlands. From Groningen Central station over the Erasmus Bridge to the Amsterdam Canals and back again past Schiphol.
The Madurodam Marathon brings all children together, regardless of background or physical circumstances. The course has no thresholds, so even if you are in a wheelchair or on a racerunner, you will have a free track. Children who need guidance will receive help from older children. All parents are at a safe distance to cheer on the athletes.
If you complete the marathon, you will collect money for het Gehandicapte Kind. This year you willl ensure that every child can play in a playground. Loneliness is still the biggest handicap for children with disabilities. If they can play in the playground near them, they can make friends more easily and feel less lonely. And all thanks to your help!
Register now! There is limited space for this edition.
