During the UIT Festival the Lange Voorhout is the cultural hotspot, with a large open podium where both national artists and local talents will perform. The yearly cultural market always attracts large crowds. Established theatres and other cultural institutions in the inner city also open their doors to provide previews of their respective cultural activities and performances for the coming season, free of charge.
Around the Spuiplein, Theater aan het Spui presents a nice programme and the Filmhuis will also participate. Aside from these, wonderful performances will be given in and around the Nieuwe Kerk. As always a little train will offer the festival visitors a ride between the Lange Voorhout, the Hofplaats and the Spuiplein.
