Design Quarter Festival turns the cosy Zeeheldenkwartier ('Sea Hero's Quarters') in the Hague, into the domain of leading Dutch designers and new talent with exciting projects. The free event mixes presentations, shops, activities and exhibitions in the design area into an inspiring multi-day event. During the multi-day design festival, a route runs along some fifty different locations in the Zeeheldenkwartier, including pop-up stores, shops, art galleries, workshops, studios and surprising places like indoor gardens, residential houses and industrial sheds.

Directions Zeeheldenkwartier is easiest to reach by car via Mauritskade, Laan van de Meerdervoort and Waldeck Pyrmontkade. Street parking is paid for most of the day in Zeeheldenkwartier. There are two small parking garages in Prins Hendrikstraat and Elandstraat. The neighbourhood is easy to reach by public transport from both major train stations in The Hague: trams 3 and 16 both have stops in Zeeheldenkwartier.
