The Hague Open, the international Challenger tennis tournament in Scheveningen, has more than proven its right to exist. With the Mets Tennis courts as the widely trusted décor, the tournament is a huge success every year. The Hague Open, formerly known as Siemens Open and Sport1 Open, is the place for upcoming national and international tennis talent wanting to improve their position in the ATP ranking.

Mets Tennis Club Since 1928 international tennis championships have been organised at the legendary Mets Tennisbanen in Scheveningen. The lovely tennis park, often called the 'little Wimbledon', is located in a residential neighbourhood just around the corner from the Circustheater and Scheveningen beach. The courts are excellent and provide you with an excellent opportunity to escape from the stress of the day with your friends or family.
Getting there The Mets Tennis courts are easily accessible by public transport and by car. By car, follow the signs to Madurodam. At the roundabout you go left and you turn into the Nieuwe Parklaan. After about 1 km you reach Stevinstraat. You can reach the Mets Tennis courts by public transport by taking bus 21 and tram 9 (from both Central Station and Station Hollandse Spoor) in the direction of Scheveningen. Then you get off at the Stevinstraat bus stop.
