Spend the night between city and sea: Kussengevecht has two spacious apartments on a beautiful quay just outside the center of The Hague.
Kussengevecht Apartments (Pillow fight)
The 2 apartments are located at a beautiful, green quay in a pleasant residential area. This residential area was built around 1920 and has the typical Hague portico houses, the apartments are situated on the ground floor of such a portico house. In the immediate vicinity you will find a large supermarket, cozy neighborhood shops and various restaurants and terraces (also for breakfast). The apartment can be rented for a minimum of two nights with a maximum of six people.
The apartments offer everything important for a relaxing stay in The Hague, also for a stay with children. The houses each have a living room with an open kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cozy living room has a sitting area with TV/DVD and free WiFi, a dining table and a fully equipped open kitchen. In the kitchen you will find a refrigerator, a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. From the living room you have access to the 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and a private bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet. The other bedrooms each have twin beds and share a shower/toilet combination. Behind the apartment is a private city garden with a small terrace facing east. On request, a cot and high chair are available for you free of charge. Of course the beds are made when you arrive and there are plenty of towels ready for you. You just have to pack your bags and enjoy The Hague.
The apartment has a key safe, so contactless check-in and check-out is possible. In addition, it extends the check-in time, check-in after 2 pm, with no time limit in the evening.
The apartments are easily accessible by public transport (tram 2 and bus 21) and there is ample parking space near the houses. On request you can use a parking permit, so you do not have to pay daily at the machine. It is also possible to rent bicycles nearby.
The beach and dunes
The Hague's museums, the city center and the station are only ten minutes away by public transport or bicycle. Shops, including an (organic) supermarket, restaurants and nice cafes are within walking distance. Do you want to visit Keukenhof, Delft, Leiden or Gouda? You can get there in no time by car or train.
There is also plenty to do for children in The Hague. Near the holiday home is a petting zoo and you will find various playgrounds. In the Museon you can see how dinosaurs lived, in the mini-city Madurodam you see the whole of the Netherlands in miniature and in the Tiki Pool you can slide down the super waterslides. A visit to Drievliet or the Vlietlanden is also worthwhile, but of course you can also just build your own sand castle on the beach.
