Owner Frank Deuning drew his inspiration for the décor at The Raffles from the photos he had seen of his grandparents' home in Central Java. Ikat tablecloths and curtains, Wedgwood tableware and Yoga table silver bring bygone days to life. The cuisine is also inspired by family tradition; classic dishes from Central Java accompanied by specialities from the entire archipelago, Malaysia and Singapore. The wine menu includes an international list of well-known and unknown wines from both Europe and the 'New World'.
