Kussengevecht is a spacious bed and breakfast in a listed building in one of the finest 19th-century neighborhoods of The Hague. In this lively area you will find restaurants from all over the world, cozy cafes, a supermarket and many small shops. The neighborhood is known as the art and music district of The Hague.Theatre De Nieuwe Regentes, various galleries and art dealers, cute bric-a-brac shops and the annual open studio route are all located nearby. Yet inside the B&B it is remarkably quiet, you will find calmness, luxury and privacy in an urban environment.
The B&B offers everything that is important for a relaxing stay in The Hague. The beds are good, the breakfast of your choice is freshly cooked for you and the rooms are very clean and quiet.
There are two rooms on the first floor, each with its own shower/toilet combination, two single beds, a sitting area and a breakfast table. The rooms have TV/DVD, free Wi-Fi and facilities for coffee and tea.
The back room has a sunny conservatory overlooking the garden, the room at the front has a small balcony overlooking the lively Weimarstraat. There is a kitchen where you can cook a simple meal. Breakfast is available in the guest rooms, in the common room on the ground floor or if weather allows in the garden.
These rooms are ideal for a weekend getaway with four people, but also for rent separately. In the back room an extra bed for children can be added.
The third room is in the back of the house and has a small balcony overlooking the garden. This room has a double bed with adjustable slats and a bathroom with bathtube. Also in this room free Wifi is available and you have in room facilities for coffee/tea. A sitting area and breakfast table can be found in the conservatory at the ground floor.
The beach, the museums and the city center are easily accessible by bicycle, tram or on foot. A tram or bus is always close (tram 2, 3, 4, 11 and 12 and bus 21) and there is ample parking.
The apartment is located at a beautiful green quay in a pleasant neighborhood. This residential area was built around 1920 and has the typical Hague porch houses, the apartment is located at the ground floor of such a porch porch houses. In the immediate vicinity you will find a large supermarket and several restaurants and cafes (including breakfast). The apartment is for rent for a minimum of 2 nights with up to 6 people.
The house has a living room with open kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the cozy living room is a sitting area with TV/DVD and free Wi-Fi, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. In the kitchen you will find a refrigerator, a dishwasher, oven and microwave. From the living room you reach the bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and a private bathroom with tub, shower, sink and toilet. The other bedrooms each have two single beds and share a shower/toilet combination in the hall. Behind the apartment is a small garden with a terrace facing east.
The beach and the dunes, the city center and the railway station are by public transport or bicycle only 10 minutes away. Shops, including a supermarket, restaurants and nice cafes are within walking distance. Do you want to visit Delft, Leiden and Gouda? By car or train easy to reach.
For children there is plenty to do in The Hague. Visit the Museon to see how dinos lived, walk through the mini city Madurodam or take a swim in the Tikipool with its super water slides, visit Drievliet or just build your own sand castle at the beach.
