Around five minutes' walk from the well-known Hague Market, is a green oasis of peace: city farm de Woelige Stal (the 'Stormy Stable'). The farm has a rich history. When it opened in 1973, it was the first city farm in an urban area. Nowadays, the farm is a home for pigs, cows, goats, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and a cat. Children can have fun in the play area and stroke and cuddle the small animals in the special cuddle corner. Kids are also very welcome to help brush and feed the animals and to clean the stalls.
