In one of The Hague's oldest streets, Molenstraat, there is a building at number 25 that stands out because of the round arch next to the shop front: the Koningspoort.
This gate is exactly opposite the end of the Oude Molstraat. Centuries ago the road behind the King's Gate led to meadows and hemp fields, and now it leads to the back of Noordeinde Palace. The glimpse has undergone many metamorphoses in the course of history, but to this day it is one of the most picturesque places that depict the court and neighbourhood.
