In de afgelopen maand verdubbelde het aantal luisteraars op Spotify en zijn ze opnieuw bevestigd voor het Amerikaanse showcase festival SXSW, maar voor die tijd komen Felix en Sloane uit Texas naar Den Haag! Musicon is het laatste en enige Nederlandse station van hun Europese tour.

Geïnspireerd door the Velvet Underground, the New York Dolls & Iggy and the Stooges passen de woorden trash, glam en punk prima bij de muziek die je vanavond gaat horen. Of zoals ze het zelf beter uitleggen: “While honoring the origins of punk and the energy it birthed with it, Lord Friday continues the legacy of change and pushing boundaries on societal norms that true punk is known for. Challenging gender roles and conformity, Lord Friday is here to empower and inspire a new kind of punk for a new world”.

Een nieuwe formatie, maar geen onbekenden in Den Haag. Kate en Luna spelen speedy guitar riffs, high pitched female vocals, catchy hooks, post-punk influenced bubblegum distorted electronics.
