Step inside the magnificent Peace Palace to get exclusive virtual access to the architectural gem that houses the highest court in the world. Wander the virtual rooms of world-class museums to pay a virtual visit to masterpieces like the Girl with the Pearl Earring. Discover highlights and hidden gems of The Hague on our brand-new and first-ever exclusive VR tour of the city.
When you have received the green VR glasses of The Hague and need some instructions how it works? Just watch the instruction video below and everything will fall into place.
There you have it – you are fully equipped to enter the city’s Virtual Reality experience.
On October 14th our beloved city host Remco Dörr gave a tour of The Hague in the new Virtual Reality world of The Hague. It takes around 30 minutes, and you will get to know The Hague a little better; from the Peace Palace to the Dutch Dunes – National Park and from the former palace Kneuterdijk to the boulevard Scheveningen. Sit back and enjoy!
And remember, you are able to use the VR box throughout the year as we will keep on adding new content. Don’t worry, we will definitely inform you when there are new parts of The Hague to explore virtually.
Go ahead and enjoy the Virtual Reality experience of The Hague. Once you enter make sure to:
1. Click the ‘VR’ button on the right bottom page when using VR glasses.
2. Choose a category, followed by a location by focusing the white dot on the locations.
3. Point the white dot on the floor to go back to the homepage.

Use of the app
It’s recommended to run the VR-App on newer smartphones that were released since at least 2016. For mid-range phones it’s recommended to use phones that were released from 2018 onwards. Make sure to use a web browser that is compatible with the WebXR* standard. For example a recent version of the Chrome or Firefox browser for Android and Safari for iOS.
* If you are using a company phone, it is possible that the WebXR setting has been turned off in your browser.
