On Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September, discover what’s on at the 4th edition of the Spotlight Festival in The Hague! Visit all participating venues for free and experience the performing arts up close. On Friday evening, the festival kicks off with ‘Spotlight In de Wijk’. During this evening, venues across all districts of The Hague will open their doors. On Saturday evening, it’s the turn of the cultural hotspots in the city centre, with special preview programmes.

Spotlight Festival showcases the culture of over 80 cultural organisations
During this free festival, you can discover the city’s vast cultural offering in surprising ways. Pop into a theatre just round the corner from you, take part in a workshop or be surprised by some special programmes. Who knows, you might just discover your new favourite spot.

Spotlight In the Neighbourhood
Friday 4 September, 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm, across all districts of The Hague
Spotlight In the Neighbourhood puts your district in the spotlight. On Friday 4 September, you’ll discover the performing arts up close, presented by and for local residents. Expect performances by local artists and special encounters. Close to home and completely free.
Culture Night
Saturday 5 September, 7.00 pm – 11.00 pm, in the centre of The Hague
Discover what’s on offer on Saturday 5 September in the cultural heart of The Hague. With a single free pass, you can visit theatres and venues across the city centre. Watch short previews of performances, concerts and festivals – from dance to literature and from music to film. Create your own route through the city. The performing arts are waiting for you!
