Urban Walk The Hague
Want to learn more about The Hague in a unique way? Then join an Urban Walk! The 7th edition of the Urban Walk The Hague will be organized on Thursday, May 9: a walk of 10-12 km or 18-20 km where you walk past all kinds of iconic buildings. The Urban Walk The Hague is not only characterized by the unique locations, but also by the special route with stamp posts, refreshments and musical acts.
The Hague is a city that has everything: you can enjoy the city but also the beach of Scheveningen or Kijkduin. The many museums and monuments give a unique appearance to the political heart of our country. is known for the combination of city and beach. The city also has many monuments and museums. At the Binnenhof you can find the government of our country and at Noordeinde Palace you will find the king's residence. In previous editions, participants already walked through Huis van het Boek, Stadsoase Spinozahof and the Kloosterkerk. The route also took participants past Noordeinde Palace, the Mauritshuis and the statue of Harry from The Hague. The route for the seventh edition starts at the Amare, after which you continue walking past special and unique locations in the city such as Pathé Buitenhof, Museum Beeld en Geluid and he Heilige Geesthofje. Start and finish
The start and finish location is again at Amare this year. The largest cultural building in the Netherlands and also the home for the Residentie Orchestra The Hague, Netherlands Dance Theater and the Royal Conservatory. The walking adventure for the participants starts from this cultural place, after which they continue walking to special and unique locations in the city.
