Paagman is The Hague's largest bookstore, but not just any bookstore, stepping inside Paagman is an experience. From new and second-hand books to a good cup of coffee and cake, from music, films and postal items to everything for the office. Online and offline, private and business. They also organise special events with authors and musicians. Paagman has five branches one in The Hague's Statenkwartier at De Fred, in The Hague city centre at Lange Poten 13-15 near the Binnenhof, in the centre of Delft, in the centre of Gouda and in the Mall of the Netherlands.
History of Paagman The Hague
Paagman was founded on 1 November 1951 as Boekhandel Paagman by Mr Gerard Paagman sr. In 1977, his son, Gerard Paagman jr. started his own stationery shop. Where Paagman Sr. was successful as a retail business for private individuals and schoolchildren, Paagman Jr. was at least as successful in selling to companies of, among other things, office supplies and office furniture. In the mid-1990s, Paagman Jr. merged the companies, laying the foundation for the current Paagman company. With the arrival of the third generation in the family business in the late 1990s, Paagman entered a new phase.

Paagman Lange Poten is located in the heart of The Hague city centre. Several tram and bus lines stop in the centre of The Hague (Spui stop), including tram lines 2, 6 and RandstadRail 3 and 4. From the tram and bus stops on the Spui, it is a 3-minute walk to Paagman at Lange Poten 41. Paagman is also easy to reach from Central Station. Via Herengracht, you can reach Paagman on Lange Poten in about 10 minutes on foot. Of course, from Central Station you can also change to one of the tram lines that stop in the centre of The Hague.
Parking
If you come by car, it is best to park in the Plein garage, paid parking. Entrance is on Lange Houtstraat. The address of this garage is Plein 25 - 2511 CS Den Haag. The garage is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
