Quartair is one of the oldest artists' initiatives of The Hague. Quartair has an exhibition space of over 200m2 in a monumental former bread factory at the Toussaintkade in The Hague. Quartair organizes exhibitions and activities and hosts artist studios.
Quartair is independent and idiosyncratic and serves as a platform for production, presentation and artistic debate. Hospitality and interaction are keywords. This is particularly reflected in exchanges with other initiatives. Quartair has an extensive network and collaborates with like-minded artists and art collectives from The Netherlands and abroad.
