Storioni Trio | Haydn, Mendelssohn & Dvorak
Experience an evening of musical masterpieces with the world-renowned Storioni Trio, consisting of Wouter Vossen (violin), Marc Vossen (cello) and Bart van de Roer (piano). The trio, founded in 1995, is acclaimed worldwide as one of the best piano trios. Their name is inspired by Wouter Vossen's violin, a 1794 masterpiece by the famous violin maker Laurentius Storioni.
In their early years, the trio worked intensively with legendary musicians such as the Vermeer Quartet, Isaac Stern, Mstislav Rostropovich and Menahem Pressler of the famous Beaux Arts Trio. Winning the prestigious Kersjes Prize in 2000 gave their career a flying start.
