The Nederlands Blazers Ensemble gets carried away on the southern breeze in an adventurous collaboration with flamenco heroes singer David Lagos and dancer Úrsula López.
The fiery soul of flamenco meets the colourful power of Dutch wind players in a programme that both embraces tradition and explores new musical paths. With composers Florian Maier and Tino van der Sman, the NBE adds a new dimension to the essence of flamenco: Florian interweaves flamenco with metal and classical, while Tino explores the boundaries with his atonal flamenco. With David and Úrsula, who breathe and embody flamenco, they go on an adventure. Together they blow flamenco to new heights, in this passionate performance full of passion, full of contradictions and full of fire.
