Aloha Beachclub, Surfschool & Surfshop
Aloha is a beach pavilion with a surf school, surf shop and restaurant. The experienced instructors are ready to teach you the basics of surfing or help you improve your skills. With top-quality surf gear and professional guidance, they ensure that you can safely and enjoyably ride the waves.
Restaurant – All-day beach dining
Aloha is known for its relaxed beach club atmosphere and varied menu offering breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner. From fresh bowls and burgers to good coffee and tropical cocktails: everything is served with a spectacular sea view. The restaurant is open 12 months a year, with a cosy winter setting and a sunny terrace in summer. From 1 October to the end of March, there is a sauna.
Surf school – Fun and safe lessons for everyone
Aloha is one of Scheveningen's longest-established surf schools. With an experienced team of certified instructors, Aloha offers surfing and SUP lessons for beginners and advanced surfers, children and adults. It also organises surf camps, workshops, clinics and group packages. Thanks to its location next to the northern harbour head, one of the best surf spots in the Netherlands is literally on the doorstep.
Surfshop – Surfgear, Fashion & beach lifestyle
The surf shop offers a carefully curated collection of surfboards, wetsuits, accessories, clothing, and beach lifestyle items. The team provides personalised advice and assists in selecting the appropriate gear. Wetsuits and surfboards are also available for hire.
Scheveningen: four seasons long
Scheveningen offers plenty to do for young and old throughout the four seasons. The Pier, the Netherlands' most famous coastal attraction, hosts a lively market almost every weekend. After a lovely walk on the beach, you can enjoy a spot of shopping at the Palace Promenade shopping centre, open seven days a week. SEA LIFE is a great place for a day out with the children. The Pathé cinema, Holland Casino and the Circustheater guarantee a fun night out in Scheveningen. And the historic city centre of The Hague is only fifteen minutes away from Scheveningen beach!
Accessibility
Aloha is easily accessible by all modes of transport. By car, follow the signs for Scheveningen Haven (Beach Stadium) from the motorway and you will arrive at the boulevard. For free parking in winter, it is convenient to choose the boulevard right in front of the door. The rest of Scheveningen is now paid parking, both in summer and winter. Despite the many parking options, it is still advisable to take public transport to Scheveningen beach. The stops for tram 9, 11, 16 and bus 22 are between a 5 and 10-minute walk from Aloha.
