De Besturing studio complex is an old industrial building on the Binckhorst business park in The Hague. The building is in a unique location directly on the harbor opposite a large concrete plant where sand and gravel are loaded and unloaded to this day.
The building houses a group of 28 artisanal, creative users. They represent different disciplines: from leather, wood and metalworking, to ceramics, photography, architecture, interventions in public space and art. The FabLab The Hague has been located here. In addition to students and private individuals, it also offers its services to users of De Besturing.
