Beach Run Scheveningen
Put on your running shoes and get ready for the Scheveningen Beach Run! On Sunday 24 January 2027, the fifth edition of this sporting running event will take place on Scheveningen beach. Run along the coast, brave the sand and enjoy the fresh sea air during a challenging running race by the sea.
Running on Scheveningen beach
The Scheveningen Beach Run is all about sport, challenge and fun. The beach provides the backdrop for a unique running event in which participants battle against the sand, the wind and the wintry conditions. Whether you’re an experienced runner or simply fancy a sporting challenge, the Beach Run offers a suitable distance for all levels.
Participants can choose between a 7-kilometre or a 14-kilometre course. Those opting for the longer distance will run two laps along the beach.
Kids’ Run for young runners
Children can also take part in the Scheveningen Beach Run. A Kids’ Run is organised especially for young sports enthusiasts aged 12 and under. They can choose between a 750-metre or a 1,500-metre distance.
Start and finish on the boulevard
The start and finish of the Scheveningen Beach Run are located on the Noordboulevard at Reborn Whitehouse (formerly EVE) in Scheveningen. The Kids’ Run starts at 1.15 pm, and the starting gun for the 7- and 14-kilometre races will be fired at 2.00 pm.
All participants will receive a personalised race number and a medal after the event. There will also be timekeeping, a clearly marked route and refreshment stations.
