Guided tour of the former US Embassy
9 Mar - 28 Dec
Excursions
The former US embassy was designed by renowned Bauhaus architect Marcel Breuer and completed in 1959. The consistently trapezoidal windows give the building an iconic appearance. The national monument has unique architectural and content significance. With its auditorium, library and special window/facade construction, the building is as special as the MET-Breuer museum in New York.
A tour through art, history and diplomacy
A tour guide from West Hague will guide you through the rooms that tell endless stories of diplomacy, history and architecture. In the middle of The Hague's Museum Quarter, the building is now a centre for art and culture. West Hague is a museum of contemporary art with changing exhibitions and events. Book a guided tour and discover how this monument retains its cultural and social relevance.
