Louwman Museum - National Automobile Museum
Step into the history of the automobile
The car is one of the most important inventions of the 19th and 20th centuries. Check out the collection of more than 275 showpieces at the Louwman Museum. And step into the history of progress, innovation and design. With a sense of historical values, an interesting and balanced collection of automobiles has been brought together. All with the aim of painting a clear and fascinating picture of the era.
Every car tells its own story and makes its own unique contribution to history. The collection is housed in The Hague, the city where P.W. Louwman started an import dealership for Dodge and Chrysler automobiles. The museum building was designed by American architect Michael Graves.
