Peaceful News is brought to you by the South Korean pianist Yeol Eum Son and the defected North Korean pianist Kim Cheol-woong, together with the Israeli-Palestinian piano duo Amal, consisting of Yaron Kohlberg and Bishara Haroni.

Son: "Bishara and I have been friends for a long time. We thought it would be fun for the three of us, so Bishara, Yaron and I, to perform in North Korea. However, since a visit there would not be easy to arrange, we decided to invite Kim to join us. We’ve had this plan since 2015. [...] The four pianos represent the north, east, west and south, and in this way we create ‘news’. We wish this to be news of peace.”
