With Prinsjesfestival, we celebrate our democracy and rule of law. Come to the festive and substantive events to celebrate with us.
Saturday 14 September is the big public day of Prinsjesfestival. There will be activities and performances all day long on the shell path along Hofvijver, including the PrinsjesMarkt, PrinsjesModeshow, performances by Lien Cornelissen, Inge Klinge and the Orchestra of the Royal Military Police.
This event is free and open to the public between 11:00 and 17:00.
The Prinsjesfestival highlights various facets of our democracy with all kinds of activities where politics, media, culture and citizens meet. Thus, the Prinsjesfestival is not only the celebration of democracy, but also a meeting place for networks that together make the Netherlands stronger.
Opening
The opening of the festival will take place on 11 September from 17 to 19 hours. You can attend for free. Please register in advance via this link.
By registering, you can also attend the official Opening on Wednesday 11 September, the Evening of the Political Book on Wednesday evening in Dudok The Hague, the speechwriter competition PrinsjesRede on Friday 13 September at the Council for the Judiciary or get one of the last tickets for PrinsjesCabaret in Theater Diligentia.
