We were brought here by our friend's daughter who works in Amsterdam. She said this is the hip place for the best Dutch apple pie. The large place was full even in the late afternoon but service was prompt and efficient. The apple pie was quite good.

Located not far from the Passage, Dudok is a traditional and trendy bistro, popular among locals. We went on a Sunday for lunch with friends. The place was busy, but since one of us had booked, we were seated quickly. We ordered the avocado with watercress, the shrimp croquettes (creamy inside and not too greasy) and the quinoa salad (generous portion). We drank the house beer to help the food down. They also offer a wide variety of desserts but we were too full. Service was friendly although a bit slow.

At the first bite, I thought the burger was not savory enough. In the end thanks to the chef, I tasted the original flavor of the sweet, soft, juicy patty with the pickle and cooked onion were just a bit for alleviating the whole burger to a delicious condition. The fries was perfect.

Spacious, with slow service. Can't recommend their cakes as I didn't like the taste. I would definitely go for brunch there though.

Small choice of baked goods but very tasty. Coffee was good and there are some cold drinks. Close to central station. Free Wi-Fi. Happy staff. Good place to stop at on a rainy day.
