Experience the best adventures in autumnal Madurodam! While the coloured leaves swirl on the Flying Dutchman, save the Netherlands from the approaching water. Climb and scramble through the paintings of The Dutch Masters and defeat the Water Wolf. Do you dare adventure in the attractions? You didn't expect that, did you?
Start your journey through the Netherlands at the life-size plane The Flying Dutchman. Have you reached your destination? On to the DJ table, where you'll show off your new bangers to the Madurodammers. Hey, wait a minute. Is Rotterdam harbour on fire! The fireboats and rescue team need a captain. That's you! Quick, put out the fires!

There is also plenty to do indoors at Madurodam. Great if it rains a bit. The life-size and covered attractions will keep you dry! Don't forget to relax in one of the restaurants. Enjoy a nice cup of tea and cake, a homemade soup or a luxury sandwich.

Attraction The Dutch Masters
Have fun in the world of The Dutch Masters: jump, climb and scramble right through the paintings and do everything you can't resist. Run from one wonder to another. Or crawl through the hidden climbing path. The Dutch Masters is the place where art comes to life. Immerse yourself in the colorful world of Vincent van Gogh, Piet Mondrian, Johannes Vermeer, Judith Leyster and Rembrandt van Rijn. A palette of adventures awaits you, you have to experience it!
Miffy's playground
Did you know that the most famous rabbit in the world turns 65 this year and has its own playground in Madurodam? Come and play with the little ones in the garden of this favorite rabbit. From swinging and seesaw to sliding down the slide and building sandcastles. The entire playground has a soft sand surface and is therefore cuddly soft. Don't forget to take a picture with the birthday giant Miffy at the exit! That's a nice free souvenir.

Opening times and directions

The theme park is situated at the heart of The Hague, between the city centre and the beach at Scheveningen. The park is located just next to the A12 and A44. Madurodam has its own parking, with 450 spaces. Trams and buses stop right outside the entrance. The stops The Hague Central Station and the boulevard at Scheveningen beach are just ten minutes away with a number 9 tram. There are several good hotels in the immediate vicinity of the theme park.
Madurodam return by train
If you come by train, you can buy a return ticket yourself at the NS ticket machine, with Madurodam as the end destination. Your train ticket then covers the tram part of the journey to the theme park.
Fundraiser for charity
Between 650,000 and 700,000 people visit the park in The Hague every year. Madurodam donates its income, between 600,000 and 700,000 euros each year, to children's charities. The focus of Madurodam's charity policy is to inspire children to connect with others, whatever their age or background. By doing things for others, we are making the Netherlands a little better, together. Madurodam has donated more than 36 million euros since it was founded in 1952.
