PrinsjesNach: The Musical Kick-Off to Prinsjesdag
On the Monday evening before Prinsjesdag, The Hague comes alive with PrinsjesNach. During this free music pub crawl, you can enjoy live performances in intimate settings, from cosy cafés to venues with outdoor stages. With its unique atmosphere and surprising locations, PrinsjesNach is the perfect way to kick off the city's Prinsjesdag celebrations.
A Hague Celebration with Local Musicians
PrinsjesNach is all about intimacy, discovery, and musical surprises. This year's programme once again showcases the diversity of The Hague's music scene, featuring everything from indie pop and jazz to classical music, singer-songwriters, and spoken word.
The line-up brings together established artists and emerging local talent. This year's performers include Cooper, Gerardo Rosales, Zippora, VOS, and Notes, Beats & Bars, a collaboration between the Residentie Orchestra and the The Hague Hip Hop Centre.

New Collaborations and Programme Highlights
This year's edition of PrinsjesNach introduces several new collaborations with Writers Unlimited, Stichting Dramtune, and Festival Klassiek achter de Duinen.
In the lead-up to the festival, two special workshop programmes will take place. Together with The Legendairs Brassband, PrinsjesNach is organising a series of three workshops in which young people from the Escamp district will discover the history of brass music. For the occasion, the band will expand its line-up with a brass section and make a number of surprise appearances during PrinsjesNach.
Also new this year is an open mic programme for emerging singer-songwriters. Guided by Guus van der Steen (Kernkoppen) and The Hague-based composer Ferdinand van Duuren, participants will develop their own songs during two workshops before performing them live for the first time at PrinsjesNach. This programme is organised in collaboration with Songwriter Sunday and will take place at Kunstbar on Noordeinde.
NachMis
PrinsjesNach concludes with the NachMis, a late-night musical tribute to democracy. The performance features a specially assembled ensemble led by Melle de Boer, with spoken-word contributions by Scott Beekhuizen (Prins S. en de Geit) and Laurin Nargy (Poezieboys). The NachMis takes place from 11:30 PM until 1:30 AM at The Grey Space, bringing the festival to a memorable close.
PrinsjesNach takes place on Monday, 14 September, from 7:00 PM onwards. The festival is free to attend and features performances at approximately 25 venues across The Hague's city centre.
