The Hague International Sound Art Festival
The second edition of the annual The Hague International Sound Art Festival invites audiences to explore the fascinating contrasts of sound around the theme ‘Arsis versus Thesis’. Immerse yourself in sound art for a weekend and discover the surprising richness of this art form!
Sound Art The Hague
The festival concept delves into extremes such as fast versus slow, high versus low and heavy and light. In it, sound in its broadest sense is used as a powerful medium of expression.
The festival brings together these strong extremes to create a sound experience that challenges perception and invites reflection. Audiences will witness performances that move from serious to joyful, from short bursts to elongated compositions, to show the great richness of sound art.
