What to Expect
The City of the Future presents an innovative vision of how modern cities can respond to major societal challenges. The design focuses on themes such as sustainable housing, smart energy solutions, and climate adaptation. Highlights include:

  • Green roofs and façades that help improve the urban climate.
  • Smart water management solutions to handle extreme weather.
  • Renewable energy generation using solar and wind power.

The students used advanced techniques, such as 3D printing, to bring their ideas to life. This project offered them a unique opportunity to combine creativity and knowledge in support of a social goal—while providing the municipality with valuable insights from a fresh, young generation.
