A special boat trip on the Hofvijver

During Royal September, enjoy a special boat trip on the historic Hofvijver in a swan-shaped pedal boat! Paddle in style and discover this iconic spot in the heart of The Hague from a whole new perspective. From Wednesday 9 to Tuesday 15 September, you can take to the water yourself in a swan-shaped pedal boat every day between 13:00 and 18:00. Both 2-person and 4-person swans are available, making them ideal for a romantic outing for two or a fun day out with family or friends.

Practical Information

• A trip lasts approximately 25 minutes.
• Boarding point: Korte Vijverberg 7 (opposite the Hague Historical Museum).
• Tickets cost €8.50 for two-person pedalos and €11 for four-person pedalos (excluding service charges).
• You can book tickets via this link and choose a time slot in advance for your trip. This ensures you’ll have a place at your preferred time.
• On presentation of your Ooievaarspas, you’ll receive a 50% discount. You’ll need to buy a ticket on the spot, though.
• On Saturday 12 and Tuesday 15 September, between 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm
• Please note: it may take a few minutes before you can actually get on board!
