Listening to the Vienna Boys' Choir together with The Hague Academy of Vocal Arts on stage is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In this unique collaboration between two leading European institutions, a number of the greatest hits from Handel's Messiah and the first cantata from Bach's Christmas Oratorio will be performed.
You can also enjoy sparkling a cappella music, which is a treat for the ears. What makes this concert extra special is that the entire cast consists exclusively of people aged 30 or younger. The whole ensemble is led by 29-year-old conductor Daniëlle van Lieshout.
With a history spanning more than 500 years, the Vienna Boys' Choir is one of the most famous boys' choirs in the world. Chorus Juventus is the choir in which the boys can continue their musical careers after their voices break. The tenors and basses of Chorus Juventus join the sopranos and altos of Vocal Ensemble Cantamare and a selection of the Musicanti children's choir. This youthful Handel is the perfect start to the festive season!
