Everyone wants Henry to become a useful citizen. He himself prefers to use his hands for sculpting. A surrealistic play with music, light art and a monumental sculpture. The performance is in English.
About the performance
Everyone wants Henry Flowers to cut off his fingers. Henry himself is strongly opposed to this. He is happy with his hands as they are. He also needs them for important things... such as sculpting. His father finds his fingers distracting. It would be better to get rid of them. They are useless. It is time for Henry to become a useful citizen and stop twiddling his thumbs. Henry Flowers is more than a play, it is a surreal rite of passage – a spectacle of blasphemy, transformation and devotion. With music, light art and a monumental sculpture of a descending hand.
