A dancer performs a powerful move in a studio

Breaking Generations is an energetic dance performance featuring three generations of dancers who share a single language: breaking. This powerful, rhythmic dance style originated in New York in the 1970s. Expect fast movements, spins and striking poses in this new creation by Korzo’s resident choreographer Constantin Trommlitz.

The dancers

On the dance floor, you’ll meet Luis Müller, aka Knuckels (aged 11), Constantin Trommlitz (aged 30), and Mariusz Nowak, aka B-Boy Trace (aged 48). The young Knuckels is already making a big impression on the big stage, having won the Red Bull Breaking competition in 2024. Meanwhile, Mariusz was already a legend in the early days of breaking in the 1990s. What can they learn from each other when they share the floor? And what happens when the same breaking moves are performed by three completely different bodies?

Breaking Generations is a personal love letter to breaking. Drawing on their different bodies, ages and perspectives, they tell a story about ambition, change, growing older and the question of what dance does to a person over time.
