A special place
The building has a rich history. It was built at the end of the 19th century as a hotel-guesthouse. Until the 50s, families from the Dutch East Indies and other visitors to The Hague stayed there. Often for several months to arrange formalities with the government. Before it was put back into use as a hotel in 2006, it was the residence of the Spanish consul.
