Jimding - Caipi Café
On Sunday 13 September, Jimding will be playing at the entrance to Scheveningen harbour on the terrace of the Caipi Café (weather permitting) at 2.00 pm.
Jimding brings together three seasoned veterans: blues growler Jim Wake on vocals, guitar and blues harmonica, with Nico Hart on bass and John den Exter on percussion. Jimding has an extensive repertoire of original songs; in these, Jimding ponders and muses on love and loss, trial and error, betrayal and farewells, the sublime and the ridiculous, good times and bad, all served up as a cocktail of irony, exasperation and appreciation for life’s absurdities.
As a complement to the original material, Jimding puts his own spin on blues, rock and roots classics by iconic artists such as Muddy Waters, T-Bone Walker, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, amongst others.
