Museum Beelden aan Zee is organising a fun-filled day of activities for families on Saturday 18 April . Between 10.00 and 12.00, you can take part in quick tours of some remarkable sculptures in the museum. In the morning, you can also get creative with a museum guide in the Open Studio. Here, you can also enjoy colouring and crafting all day long. Admission is free for children up to the age of 12. They receive a treasure hunt booklet full of fun tasks, puzzles and questions to help them discover the museum through play.
Today also marks the return of all the fairy-tale sculptures from the Beelden aan Zee museum to the promenade! With a free audio tour you can discover the sculptures inspired by famous fairy tales and folk tales. Perhaps you’ll recognise Gulliver, Pinocchio, Hansel and Gretel or the Tin Soldier. In fairy tales, wonderful things often happen: sometimes a little exciting, sometimes funny or hopeful. Little heroes defeat great enemies and even seemingly impossible problems are solved.
