Liberation Festival The Hague

The Liberation Festival takes place every year on the 5th of May, on the Malieveld in The Hague, with something for everyone of all ages. The high-light of this free event is a performance by a celebrity who, as the Ambassador for Peace, is flown in by helicopter. Included in the festival programme are shows on open air stages set up around the city and any number of of other activities such as debates, street theatre, children's activities and a festival market. Plenty of opportunity to celebrate freedom in your own way.
