Marianne Blokland - painting with paint and wool

As a sea and landscape painter, I was woken up by an art lover member of Pulchri Studio, who is herself a great felter. She asked me ‘have you ever felted a sea?’. I heard it thunder in Cologne.
She helped me on my way to felt a patch with hot water and olive soap, I was sold. Therefore, this time, no new sea paintings that people are used to from me.
Our holidays are always a search for modern architecture and modern art. With the car loaded with beautiful wool, I felted the Japanese garden by the pool of our holiday home in the morning and in the evening.
I couldn't stop anymore.
