The North Sea Race and Vuurschepenrace 2021 are canceled , but the NSR has come up with a nice alternative. During the next long Ascension weekend on Friday 14 and Saturday 15, the North Sea Regatta is organizing a new sailing race: the NSR C-19 Windmill Race.

North Sea Regatta is The Hague's annual sailing festival. Every Whitsun weekend, Scheveningen is transformed into the epicentre of Dutch competitive sailing. There will be all kinds of boats, with a total of around 1,500 sailors heading for the coast of The Hague.
