Rewire Festival
Rewire is an annual international festival for progressive, 'innovative' music. The festival consists of various thematic focus and context programs that make connections between musical, cultural and social themes.
From 3 to 6 April 2025, Rewire, the leading festival for adventurous music, will once again descend on various cultural hotspots in the city centre of The Hague. Rewire 2024 features an extensive programme full of progressive and genre-transcending music from all corners of the world.
Rewire Festival, takes place from 3 to 6 April in The Hague. At locations such as Theater aan het Spui, Pulchri Studio and the Paleiskerk, there will be artworks to experience that connect music, technology and performance and stimulate all the senses.
First Annoucement
The first announcement of Rewire 2025 includes a special focus programme around iconic sound artist Alvin Curran, a pioneer in the world of experimental music. In addition, the festival offers Dutch premieres by artists such as Anna von Hausswolff, Kali Malone in collaboration with vocalists from Macadam, horns and Stephen O'Malley, the new audiovisual project by JASSS & Ben Kreukniet, the experimental post-punk formation Moin ft. Sophia Al-Maria & Olan Monk. American noise legends Yellow Swans, British electronic duo Two Shell, pioneer and vocal virtuoso Joan La Barbara, and the interdisciplinary collaboration of Forensis (Forensic Architecture) & Bill Kouligas. As well as shows by Oklou, Nala Sinephro, Arooj Aftab, Good Sad Happy Bad, and The Hague bubbling DJ/producer De Schuurman, among others. These acts are just some of the experimental and groundbreaking artists expected at Rewire 2025.
