Ice skating with a sea view? This winter, you can do just that on the new 60-metre-long ice rink on the Scheveningen seafront.

This winter, there will be an extra ice rink on the Scheveningen boulevard, with a view of the sea and extra space for skating. The rink will be open to everyone from Saturday 6 December 2025 at 10 a.m.
Every evening from 5 p.m., the ice rink transforms into a disco during Disco Skating. In the weeks that follow, there are even more activities on the programme. Keep an eye on the organisation's social media channels for updates.
The new ice rink on the boulevard is called Skate By the Sea and offers a unique experience: skating with a view of the North Sea. The 60-metre-long rink is located right by the sea, next to the Kurhaus, and gives a spectacular feeling of space and freedom. As you skate, you can feel the sea breeze and watch the sun slowly set on the horizon.
Skating here is different than usual – right in the middle of Scheveningen's winter beach life.
