Starman – The Dutch David Bowie Tribute

David Bowie left behind a legacy that still moves and surprises audiences today. Starman digs deep into that legacy: familiar classics like Space Oddity, Ziggy Stardust and Heroes sit alongside tracks that can catch even seasoned Bowie fans off guard. Rias Baarda delivers voice and charisma with enough conviction that the show develops its own energy, well beyond the usual expectations of a tribute act.

Rias Baarda has long been recognised as one of the most convincing Bowie performers in the Netherlands. His approach is vivid and theatrical: rather than simple imitation, he channels the atmosphere and character of Bowie's different musical periods. From the glam rock of the seventies to the synth-pop of the eighties, Starman moves through several distinct chapters of a singular career.
