The Willemsvaart – named after King William I, who ordered the construction of a waterway from the Prinsessegracht to the coast – has been offering various boat tours in the city centre of The Hague and towards Scheveningen beach since 2009.
During the cruise, an experienced guide shares historical facts and interesting anecdotes about the city. In addition to the standard tours, the Willemsvaart regularly organises themed cruises, often in collaboration with museums, hotels and festivals in The Hague.
(Almost) daily cruises
With the Willemsvaart, you can enjoy a boat trip almost every day of the year. During autumn and winter, there are no regular open-boat cruises on Mondays and Tuesdays.
From Wednesday to Sunday, several cruises depart daily between 11:30 and 15:00.
