What can you do at the Europa Experience?
Experience how European legislation is made in the free role-play activity. Negotiate, debate and, in the space of two hours, discover the power of decision-making at European level. Learn in the 360° cinema what the European Union means for you and what major challenges lie ahead for the Union. Meet Members of the European Parliament, find out who the European Commissioners are and discover the projects the EU is carrying out in The Hague. Learn how the European institutions work together and find out how you can influence European democracy, which shapes the daily lives of millions of Europeans.
About the Europa Experience
The Europa Experience is a project run by the European Parliament, in collaboration with the European Commission, with the aim of bringing the European Union closer to its citizens. The Europa Experience in The Hague is the 18th of its kind in Europe. The very first opened in Berlin in 2016, and there are now Europa Experiences in Athens, Berlin, Budapest, Dublin, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Ljubljana, Luxembourg, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Tallinn, Warsaw, Vienna, Zagreb and The Hague.

Accessibility
You’ll find the Europa Experience at Grote Marktstraat 25, The Hague’s main shopping street. This lively street runs from the Grote Markt, a bustling square full of cafés and restaurants, to the Spui, where the town hall is located and the government district begins.
The Europa Experience is easy to get to:
- by tram – just 5 minutes from The Hague Central Station;
- on foot – 15 minutes from The Hague Central Station;
- by car – short-term parking just round the corner or paid parking on the same street.
Accessibility
The Europa Experience is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. The content is available in all 24 official EU languages, and subtitles are also provided. Portable loop systems and personal headphones can be used in the media rooms, enabling people with hearing impairments to visit the exhibition in the best possible conditions. The cinema is equipped with audio description. In addition, a tactile map of the exhibition is available for people with visual impairments. Do you need specific assistance?
